The term „Intellectual and industrial Property“ includes industrial property rights such as patent, utility model, plant variety protection and the semi-conductor topography rights. Moreover, trademark and design law also belong to the field of industrial property protection, as well as competition law, which mainly contains injunctive power to ensure fair competition. The copyright regime is often mentioned together with intellectual and industrial property rights. However, this field is not counted directly to the industrial property rights, as it relates to the protection of personal intellectual creation, and thus is assigned to the artistic or cultural sector, and not to the industrial one.
